CKS Warta A and Vikings played to a dramatic 2:2 draw last Friday in a top-of-the table clash in the Champions Division. The outcome leaves Warta in the top spot, with 14 points from seven matches. Vikings edged into second place with 13 points.
The game started at a frenetic pace and it didn't take long for the goals to start flowing. Vikings needed just three minutes to grab the lead through Jaime Alonso, who took advantage of a Warta mistake in the back.
Adrian Ortiz equalized shortly thereafter and the sides went into the break knotted at 1:1.
Vikings regained the lead when Max Todd scored his first goal of the season midway through the first half, slipping through the Warta defense to tap home a corner kick.
Warta shifted to a 6-attacker formation with just over three minutes left in the game and were rewarded when Art Garza drilled a perfect shot into the far roof of the net to make it 2:2.
