CKS Warta continued their winning ways when they polished off FC Guadalajara 2:1 on June 24 at Hales Franciscan HS.
Despite starting the match with just eight players, Warta managed to hold off the home side until their full squad finally arrived. At that point, Luis Adame scored a stunning goal in the 20th minute.
Guadalajara made some adjustments at halftime and got their equalizer in the 61st minute on a shot from distance that beat Rodolfo Gonzalez into the top far corner.
The game turned in the 74th minute, when Adame was fouled from behind in the box, leading to a penalty kick. Jose Castellanos stepped up to spot and sent the keeper the wrong way to give Warta a lead they would never relinquish. In the aftermath of the penalty kick, two Guadalajara players were sent off, forcing them to finish the match with nine men.
