Gazelle SC maintained their perfect start to the season on Sunday with a 3:1 victory over Stare Byki FC at Olympic Park.
Gazelle wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, when they pounced on a weak clearance and drove a shot from the top of the box into the back of the net in the fifth minute.
The visitors exploited space on the right side of the Byki defense in the 39th minute to double their lead. A lightning-quick counterattack four minutes later put Gazelle in total control at 3:0.
The Byki pulled one back just before halftime, when Joe Sauerman redirected a cross from the right wing past the Gazelle goalkeeper.
The sides battled on nearly even terms in a goalless second half.
