You will be remembered as a soccer goalkeeper of extraordinary talent, a goalkeeper coach of equal talent, and a fine soccer coach of both men and women by passing on your skills, knowledge, and desire to win. Your eye for finding talented players of all ages was second to none, and, more importantly, you knew how to nurture and teach each player to demand the best performance in practice and competition. You built a soccer business from scratch and made it the center of the Chicago soccer community. I remember watching you play goalie for the Chicago Horizons and Kansas City Comets. Little did I know you gave me my first chance to referee men's soccer. We worked together for 14 years at the Odeum and with the local leagues. You introduced me to Chicago soccer and all its wonderful teams, coaches, and players. Thanks for the fun. You loved soccer like you loved life. You are remembered and missed.
